Abathor - A Hack Slash Platformer game

Introduction:

Multiplayer games have been with us for some times now, 2d, 3d and so on.

But developers are not limited to only two friends playing a game, instead, the can add as many players as the want to play a game. And yes of course, it's possible.

Do you want to doubt? I am not sure, because the game we have today just went from multiplayer, to multiple payers. Ok let's be specific, the players needed to play this game would be four (4) that's right, so now your close friends do not need to stay and just watch you play and enjoy yourself, all by yourself.

There are lots of contents from this games Team, so I would just do want I would do. Yes, do what I would do (hahaha).

About

Abathor is a hack and Slash 2D platformer arcade action game for 4 players. You are the last hope in the defense of Atlantis, you’ll face hordes of enemies and countless challenges. Enjoy its pixel art and epic music. A cooperative and competitive game to achieve glory or death.

This game was inspired by Rastan, Conan, GoldenAxe, Actraiser, Ghouls and Ghost, Castlevania, Ninja Gaiden, King of Dragons and dozens of other games from the late 80's and early 90's.

Gameplay

• 12 totally different zones with 5 levels each and 12 final bosses. Lives are shared between players, so if

one survives, the level is finished, but only the best player gets an equipable item as a reward. The game saves itself after passing each zone.

• A Hard difficulty level aimed at the most daring players, in order to reach the final boss, for a total game duration of about 10 hours.

• The game has no bureaucracy, no exhausting conversations, no equipment menus. It is dynamic and agile, very rich in content, but avoids everything that is not purely classic Arcade.

LORE SUMMARY

Abathor has an audiovisual narrative. It tells the fate of Atlantis from a sword-and-sorcery point of view. With a base of Plato's historical writings and Athanasius' original map, a new world has been introduced: that of the demons of Abathor, which lies beneath the Atlantean continent.

The Atlantean civilization angered the gods and they have sent countless hordes of monsters to destroy Atlantis as punishment. Players must cooperate and compete to save Atlantis, going through a series of challenges of increasing difficulty. In their progress they will fight against ferocious demons and primordial gods, against the living and against the dead, against flying beasts and crawling horrors, they will dodge dangers and traps and descend to chilling abysses. They will rival between them plundering treasures and offering them to the gods to receive their favor.

GRAPHIC DESIGN AND MUSIC.

• Abathor contains more than 25 types of fully differentiated scenarios, with more than 50 varied levels and 100 different enemies, both designed by professional pixel artists specialized in retro graphics.

• It also has an optional shader of retro aesthetics in CRT to achieve the arcade screen effect.

• The OST contains more than 40 original songs composed by chiptune and retro music professionals. This music has all kinds of rhythms, melodies and instruments adapted to the mechanics and experiences of each stage.

RGB

Introduction RGB is a color code. It is used to represent how much "Red, Green, and Blue", is in a color. RGB starts its Value from 0 to 255. The values for each color is usually separated by a comma (,) or a semicolon (;). The color is usually represented as RGB (255,255,255), RGB (255, 0, 0). If all values are "0", the color would be "Black", if all values are "255", the color would be white, then if a (one of the) value is "255", the color would either be "RED", "GREEN", or "BLUE", depending on the position of the value. This kind of value (color code) is used in a lot of applications, from painting apps, on your devices, to many other applications. Some applications, do not use semicolon or comas to separate there values, instead, the use text input, for you to input your own value for each color (RED, GREEN, BLUE), which will then be computed to bring out another color, or a desired color. This game wa...
